I sent an owl to Isabella to ask if Aunt Phoebe and I could speak to her because she works for the ministry and she mentioned that she's staying with you right now. Mind if I stop by for a visit? One of my charges has had an encounter with someone I believe to have been a deatheater and, I'd like to know what to expect in the way of possible side effects and future attacks. I was hoping you would be willing to explain to me something of their methods and their madness as it were. Maybe we could compare notes? By the way, I believe you know my daughter, Penthea? | 7:31 pm | {Journal entry} Interesting day One of my charges was attacked today. Not by a demon, that would be too predictable! No, this was the work of a deatheater. I'm not impressed. I managed to get him with a potion, but it took me hours to get her off the ceiling and calmed down. I'm going to stay with her for awhile longer and make sure she'll be alright through the night. I think I need to talk to someone over at the Ministry of Magic about this, they're using magic I haven't seen before. I'm thinking that I just might invite an English witch or wizard to dinner. Have a nice long sit down. I was having a good day, too. Got a chicken in the slowcooker, did some weeding in the garden, got the dogs out for a good walk... [Private to Penny] I'm a little tied up right now and Dad's working late tonight. Could you please check on the chicken and make sure it doesn't burn? Please? I'm not asking you to stay home all evening, just turn it all off once it's cooked and leave me a note if you go out, 'K? Thanks Sweetie! [Private to Phyl] Honey, do you know who I would talk to at the Ministry about deatheater magic? Learn anything new lately? Just checking.
